ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Home Maid aspires to minimise its impact on our environment and maximise the effective use of resources. We strive to achieve this by increasing communication and awareness of our efforts in accordance with this policy and fostering responsible environmental behaviour amongst our workers and industry colleagues at all levels.

Home Maid recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements.

We are committed to the protection of the environment and prevention of pollution when providing any cleaning services.

To achieve this, we will:

• Set regular environmental objectives and monitor their achievement;
• Adhere to principles of continual improvement, seeking ways to reduce the consumption of resources and prevent pollution;
• Observe all applicable environmental laws and regulatory requirements, and fulfil our compliance obligations;
• Promote environmental awareness among all workers to increase understanding of environmental aspects of the business;
• Employ a life cycle perspective in our operations and when outsourcing and selecting suppliers;
• Address any nonconformities to prevent recurrence; and
• Ensure the responsible use of energy and other resources throughout the organisation.

Appropriate training and instruction shall be provided to ensure that project workers are encouraged to offer suggestions about how environmental protection measures can be improved. Such suggestions will be assessed by Company management and implemented as appropriate.
